Call for Abstracts
The deadline for submitting an abstract for the January 2023 workshop is Noon (CDT) on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
The focus of the workshop is normative ethical theory, to be distinguished as far as possible from metaethics, political philosophy, and applied ethics.
Abstracts on any topic in normative ethical theory are welcome. Abstracts should be no longer than 3 double-spaced pages and prepared for blind review. Please forward your abstract in pdf format to me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Noon (CDT) on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
Submissions will be evaluated by a program committee, and decisions will be made in early to mid-July 2022. There is a limit of one submission per author(s). Those who presented at WiNE in 2021 or 2022 are not eligible to submit an abstract to the upcoming workshop event.
Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to provide a draft of their paper four weeks in advance of the workshop, which will be made available to those who register.
In accepting a place on the program, authors agree to have the final version of their work (pending external review) published for the first time in Oxford Studies in Normative Ethics, which is expected to be published in 2024.
