Call for Abstracts
The deadline for submitting an abstract for the January 2024 workshop is Noon (CDT) on Friday, June 2, 2023.
The focus of the workshop is normative ethical theory, to be distinguished as far as possible from metaethics, political philosophy, and applied ethics.
Abstracts should be no more than 3 double-spaced pages (ordinary fonts and margins; bibliography on a fourth page is OK), saved as a pdf and prepared for blind review. They are due no later than Noon (CDT) on Friday, June 2, 2023. Please send them by email to email@example.com.
Submissions will be evaluated by a program committee, and decisions will be made in early to mid-July 2023. There is a limit of one submission per author(s). Those who presented at WiNE in 2022 or 2023 are not eligible to submit an abstract to the upcoming workshop event.
Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to provide a draft of their paper two weeks in advance of the workshop, which will be made available to those who register.
Please note: In accepting a place on the program, authors agree to have the final version of their work (pending external review) published for the first time in Oxford Studies in Normative Ethics, which is expected to be published in 2025.
