Call for Abstracts
The deadline for submitting an abstract for the January 2026 workshop is Noon (CDT) on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

The focus of the workshop is normative ethical theory, to be distinguished as far as possible from metaethics, political philosophy, and applied ethics.

Abstracts should be no more than 3 double-spaced pages (ordinary fonts and margins; bibliography on a fourth page is OK), saved as a pdf and prepared for blind review. They are due no later than Noon (CDT) on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Please send them by email to mtimmons@arizona.edu.

Submissions will be evaluated by a program committee, and decisions will be made in early to mid-July 2025. There is a limit of one submission per author(s). Those who presented at WiNE in 2024 or 2025 are not eligible to submit an abstract to the upcoming workshop event.

Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to provide a draft of their paper four weeks in advance of the workshop. This draft will then be accessible to all registered attendees.

Please note: In accepting a place on the program, authors agree to have the final version of their work (pending external review) published for the first time in Oxford Studies in Normative Ethics, which is expected to be published in 2027.
